Note to self: Avoid First Class cars!

After telling me that I was in fact in 2nd class, the conductor asked me my destination and told me that Soro would come shortly, in two stops. So, I readied myself for departure.

When the train stopped at Soro, I got my heavy bag down from the rack, bid the woman goodbye and thanked her for her help, and saw that the quickest path out was through the first-class car I had initially sat in. As I entered the first-class car again, I had a man in front of me, blocking my view partially. Several rows into the car, he stopped. I looked and saw a food-service trolley in front of him, taking up most of the aisle.

He stalled for a few seconds; but, since he didn't have a big bag, he was able to squeeze to the side of the cart and get by. I surveyed the situation, but determined I couldn't safely manipulate my luggage around the cart.

So I had to turn around, back track, and then go to the far end of the car I eventually sat in to get to the alternate exit. As I deboarded the train, I eventually saw a short woman with red hair and a small dog. She said to me "Gregg?!" And so I met my Mom's friend Karin.

I was supposed to call Karin during the train ride, but got sidetracked talking to the woman beside me and forgot. On the short walk back to her apartment, Karin told me that, since I didn't call and since I was one of the last people to get off the train, she was afraid I had gotten on the wrong train or missed my stop.
